Mission

I believe that you are inherently and unconditionally lovable and worthy of that love. I am here to help you remember that you are connected to and a part of something greater, something bigger than us, and that you matter.

Mission

BE THE LOVE WE WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD

Self-Care is Self-Love, but it's also Community-Care.

Having a big heart can sometimes feel like a burden. I know the first step in caring for your community is caring for yourself and your loved ones, but sometimes it's hard to see the real impact that self-care and self-love can have. That's why I display that impact front and center.

For every dollar you spend, I donate to activist organizations making real differences in our local and global communities. By taking care of you, you're taking care of us. All of us.

Philosophy

Because I believe in the interdependence of all things and that everyone matters, I chose the following causes with which to share resources.

  • Global Women's Strike

    Invest in Caring, Not Killing

Global Women's Strike is an international multiracial network campaigning for recognition and payment for all caring work for people and planet - a Care Income. It is co-ordinated by the International Wages for Housework Campaign and was launched by Selma James in 1972.

  • Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania

    Caretakers of This Land

The Lenape people are the original inhabitants of eastern Pennsylvania, southern New York, New Jersey, and northern Delaware (collectively referred to as the Lenapehokink--"land of the Lenape"). For over 10,000 years they have been the caretakers of these lands and of The River of Human Beings, more commonly known as the Delaware River. The Lenape were the first tribe to sign a treaty with the United States and the first tribe to have land set aside for them in New Jersey. The Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania encourages partnerships among people and organizations in order to foster cultural, historical, and environmental education and preservation.

  • The Shevlin Family Foundation

The Shevlin Family Foundation is a Delaware County, community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to lift up individuals, families, and communities affected by Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

Donations support scholarships for housing, small grants for food, hygiene or clothing items, transportation and participation in sober living programs.

core values

You Can Thrive as a Sensitive Person

Sensitive people sometimes feel that their sensitivity is the cause of their suffering. "If I didn’t feel so strongly, if I didn’t care so much, I would not be suffering so deeply and feel so very broken." I believe our sensitivity is one of our greatest strengths and our loving hearts are what actually help us heal.

Because of this, I help people find peace, relaxation, and freedom in being themselves. I believe in this state humans are capable of great and wonderful things.

core values

We Are Interdependent

What we say and do effects other people and the world around us. How we treat ourselves and each other matters. By acknowledging this connection, this collective experience, we make space for each other to share and to be human. No one is perfect, but we do need to learn how to respect each other and how to live with each other.

I cultivate groups capable of intimacy and emotional safety where people can share without fear of being shamed or judged.

Let there be no gossip or criticism

by Taking Care of You, You're Taking Care of Us

core values

True Responsibility is SELF-Supporting & ALTRUIStic

It is a paradox that to take care of others we must first take care of ourselves. Where is the line between self-serving and self-care? To truly be responsible we have to tend to our own needs so that others don't have to. Having said that, I acknowledge that the systems in which we find ourselves are not equal. I believe that by taking care of our most marginalized, and fighting the injustices that deny their power, we all benefit.

That's why I donate a portion of every sale to organizations that help people and heal systemic injustice throughout the U.S.
